HI Toby
Here is a very good page on the divisor plan.I will explain how I use it in a following post.
But please read this 1st & if you have any Questions....Just ask me mate....I will do my very best for you.
H6 POINT DIVISOR
Here it is:-
. THE SIX POINT PLAN
The Six Point Plan has been around for a long time. Few people use it. And yet it is one of the easiest methods around to enable you to win on a consistent basis. There really is no great risk attached to its operation, because you can introduce a built-in safety brake if things threaten to get out of control.Professionals regard it as the soundest of all target-staking methods. It’s been played in Australia for more than 50 years, but seems to have been more popular in the 30s and 40s than nowadays, when punters seem more impatient than their predecessors. The aim of the Six Point Plan is to win six betting units every time the punter backs a winner, or winners, whose odds total six. The target figure decides the opening bet. Example: If you were aiming to win $6 altogether, the opening bet would be $1 because the DIVISOR is six. So you have six divided into six, which equals a bet of one unit. The betting action is just a matter of simple division of the DIVISOR into the TARGET figure. To explain the action, we’ll work to a target figure of $12. To work out your bets you use the divisor of six and the target of 12. The opening bet, then, is $2 (12 divided by six). If the opening bet lost, the objective would be increased by the lost $2 to $14 and you would then divide six into 14 to get the total of the next bet.Rounding off, your next bet would be $2.50. Let’s assume your bet lost again. You now have a target of $16.50 and this is divided by six so your next bet would be, rounded off, $3. Let’s assume the worst and we have this horse losing. Your target now rises to $19.50, which again is divided by six to get your next bet, which is, rounded off, $3.50.Good news! You get a winner at 2/1. That means you have won $7 of the target of $19.50, which reduces the target to $12.50. You now have to drop your divisor by two points (the price of the winner) and this now becomes a divisor of four.Your next bet, then, is $12.50 divided by four, which gives you a vet, rounded off, of $3. If this bet won, say, at 3/1 you would have a profit of $9 coming off the $12.50, leaving you only $3.50 to get to complete the Six Point Plan, with a divisor of 1. At this point you can simply rule off that particular section and begin a completely new Six Point target and divisor.
Should you strike a losing run which seems without end, you can easily halt any rapid rise in stakes by introducing the Safety Brake. The divisor may be six when you strike a slump which has taken the target figure to, say, 60, meaning a bet of 10 units next time. All you do now is bring in a new divisor to add to the present one, and a fresh target. This means a new target of 12 (added to the current 60) making 72, and a new divisor of 12.Your next bet, then, would be 72 divided by 12, equalling six. If you were still not happy you could even bring in a third divisor of six and a third extra target of 12, making your set-up now a target of 84 divided by 18, meaning a next bet of, say, $4.50.You can also introduce new divisor/target figures when your current divisor has, say, dropped to two, with an objective, say, of $5. This calls for a $2.50 bet. Whenever the divisor is lower than three it is sensible, to protect your capital, to bring in a new divisor and objective, as this prevents stakes rising too rapidly in the event of a long losing run.
Divisor Target
2 5
Bring in new divisor
6 12
New divisor/target
8 17
As you can see, you now have a new divisor of eight and a new target of 17, giving you a next bet of, say, $2. Why do we bring in this safety brake? Because, with a divisor of only two you strakes could climb too steeply and the situation just might become fraught with panic on your side. The good thing about the Six Point Plan is that it provides, through the safety brakes, for a common-sense approach. Also, you MUST win in the end! On any reasonable set of selections, you will eventually back winners whose combined total odds will wipe out the divisor and produce the desired profit.

As Promised I will try & explain how to use the 6 point divisor that I tweaked it a little years ago so it could be used at roulette.
And these are real numbers that came out yesterday I did not make them up.
Lets say I was betting unders or low 1 to 18
& our target is a profit of 6 units.
Whenever we win we bring the divisor down one
Whenever we lose 2 bets in a row we put it up one.
So when are in profit we have a choice to either start again
or
Use the divisor as in the article that you read.
Everyone is different & it becomes a personal choice for each player.
I myself like to restart after any profit.
And another thing if the divisor gets down to 2
(you can make this 3 for extra safety if you want)
I always add another divisor of 6 + 6 more to target.
I will mark the profits this way < >
div (no#) that came up
6/6=1 to bet (25) lose 1 add 6=7 to target
6/7=2 to bet (1) win so now 7-2= 5-6target =<1>
6/6=1 to bet (22) lose 1 add6=7
6/7=2 to bet (3) win so now 7-2=5-6target=<2>
6/6=1 to bet (35) lose 1 add 6=7 to target
6/7=2 to bet (2) win so now 7-2=5-6 target=<3>
6/6=1 to bet (29) lose 1 add 6=7 to target
6/7=2 to bet (19) lose 2 add 7=9 to target
we lost twice so put the divisor up 1 to 7 so now
7/9=2 to bet (33) lose 2 add 9=11 to target
7/11=2 to bet (Z) lose 2 add 11=13 to target
we lost twice so put the divisor up 1 to 8 so now
8/13=2 to bet (21) lose 2 add 13=15 to target
8/13=2 to bet (11) win so now 13-2=11 to target
we won so divisor comes down 1 to 7 so now
7/11=2 to bet (9) win so now 11-2=9 to target
we won so divisor down 1 to 6 so now
6/9=2 to bet (2 lose 2 add 9=11
6/11=2 to bet (11) win so now 11-2=9
we won so divisor down 1 to 5 so now
5/9=2 to bet 1 win so now 9-2=7
we won so div down 1 to 4 so now
4/7=2 to bet (Z) lose 2 add 7=11
4/11=3 to bet (19) lose 3 add 11=14
we lost twice so div up 1 to 5 so now
5/14=3 to bet (14) win so now 14-3=11 to target
4/11=3 to bet (11) win so now 11-3=8 to target
we won so div down 1 to 3
3/8=3 to bet (17) win so now 8-3=5-6 target=<4>
6/6=1 to bet (14) win so now 6-1=5-6 target=<5>
6/6=1 to bet (10) win so now 6-1=5-6 target=<6>
Target reached after 23 bets
Toby I just did it here in its pure natural form.
However I have tweaked it so that I can bet on the
Zero pocket or the Zero or both if I want to
If I had bet on the Zero poicket it would have cost me another 23 units but it would have returned me another 54-23 outlay=31 more profit
If I had just bet on the Zero it would have cost me another 23 units for a return of 72-23=49 more profit.
If I had bet on bothe the Zero pocket & the Zero
it would have cost me 46 units more for a return of
126-46=80 units more profit.
Its an individual thing that every player has to make a choice of what they like to do.
I preferr the Zero pocket bet
Because when the pocket is comeing its like getting money from heaven.
But when its not comeing its a mongrel.
Also this example is done on even money bets only
but it can work on them all
EG: Dozen & column bet...Line bet....Street bet

hi lanky, Igot everything but the end:
"6/6=1 to bet (14) win so now 6-1=5-6 target=<5>
6/6=1 to bet (10) win so now 6-1=5-6 target=<6> "
Why do you switch th y last 2 bets to divisor 6 as we hitwith divisor 3 when target was 8, so our target became 5. Our next divisor, shouldn`t be 2 or 3 again?
"And another thing if the divisor gets down to 2
(you can make this 3 for extra safety if you want)"
I only found confusion in that.
Another question, I understood how to play plain Zero 23 times while we play the progression but I do not know what "zero pocket" is. It`s a double zero? sorry for my ignorance, you know my mother language is spanish.
I thank you very much for the explanation, I got it all but the 2 elements I said.
best regards

best regardsHi toby
(1)The reason I changed was because
3/8=3 to bet 17 came we win so 8-3=5 less 6 target=1 win so that =<4> profit
So start again as we made a profit
And On the next bet 6/6=1 to bet & 14 came we win 1 less 6 target= see>><5> profit
And as I said I always start over again when we make a profit.
So now start again
6/6= 1 to bet number 10 came so we won 1=<6> profit
so if we were to continue we would start again like so
6/6=1
(2) If the divisor reaches 3 like
3/12= 4 to bet
Then you can either have that bet
Or you can add the safety brake here & add another
6/6 plus the 3/12 you had so that would be
9/18=2 to bet
It keeps your bets lower.
See that toby instead of
3/12=4 to bet
we now have
9/18= 2 to bet
(3) The Zero pocket is
The corner bet that pays 8 to 1 or 9 return for every unit you bet on it on the numbers of
Zero 1 2 3
I hope that I have explained it so you can understand it toby.
If not just ask me more Questions
Another thing Toby is that you can use it any way that suits you the player
However I never go below 2 at the most with the divisor Just like the article said

lanky, thank you very much for your dedication on my doubts.
Now I undestand the progresssion.
Would it be applyied to a VLS even chances selection with success?
In what way would you recommend playing the progression?
Lanky- 07-10-2007
HI Toby
Yes mate it can be used for even chances.
I can see no reason why it would not work on
Victors even chances.
About the only thing I do not use it in is my coffee.
I am not sure by what you mean by
""In what way would I recommend playing the progression""

My friend toby is spanish-speaking as a mother tonge.
I got him right!:
He means "De qué manera me recomiendas que juegue la progresión" conveying the idea of the best betting selection you suggest to seqeeze the most performance out of the six-point divisor plan.
toby1968- 07-10-2007
victor understood me as usual, thanks
VLSroulette- 07-10-2007
That's a little bit tricky, because we can use a different order of words in spanish than english, it needs a bilingual brain to spot both!
Oh! And I'm not infering that my brain has two tonges, or even a mouth... LoL
Lanky- 07-11-2007
Hi Guys
@Victor LOL Thanks for clearing that up for me.
Toby
Mate its good for evens.
Especially good for betting 1 dozen
Or 1 or 2 lines
EG 123456=1 line or a double street if you understand that better.
...........................................................................
This next part I am still working on. Because I am getting better at the pattens.
But at the moment
When I play the Lw ,method I usually bet
1x1 if that is a loss then
2 x2 if thats a loss
then that is 6 lost so I add that to a 6 target=12
So 6/12= 2x2 to bet

Hi Forum
I guess I will put this here & if Victor wants me to move it I wll.
This is how I play the black & reds with the 6 point divisor plan.
Its best & most deadly when the wheel is throwing Zig Zags or pairs.
If this is happening you can get plenty of action & win units quickly.
If it Zig Zags you win every bet you have.
If it goes in pairs then you win every 2nd bet.
The only way you can get beat is if it throws 3 of the opposite colour that you are betting in a row & then you only lose twice.
IF its not happening that way then it can be a bit boreing.
I am not interested until a particular colour comes out 3 or more times in a row if & when it does I then watch for it to stop the other colour comeing out 3 times in a row over 3 different times.
EG.BBBBB<gets our attention then RRR<<now our focus is on red.
If the 1st EG had been BBBBB-RR-B-R-B-RRR it still does not Qualify as over 3 different times red came out 3 times in row
Now if it had gone
BBBBB-RR-B-R-BB-RR-B<<now Black qualifies as it has stopped red comeing out 3 times in a row on 3 different times.
Then on the very next R we woul bet Black to win.
Ok here is todays colours as they came out
BRBBBBB<alert>RRR<alert>Z BBRBRRZBR<<Ok see here Red has stopped black from comeing out 3 in a row on 3 different times.
So the next time it comes black we will bet red.
From here I will mark the bets this way < >
BRBBWe lose twice so we stop & wait for another Qualifier to come.It continued.
RRBBRBRB<<quaifier Black has stopped Red 3times
RBBBRBRBBBRRBBBBBBBBRZBBRBR <<Stop here & wait for another Qualifier.
RBRBRBBB<<Alert
RRBRBBBBRRB<<Qualifier Black has stopped Red 3 times
BBBBBRBBBBBRBBRBBBR
So we had 20 bets for 13 wins
Betting with the 6 point divisor plan would look like this.
6/6=1win=<1> profit
6/6=1win=1+1=<2> profit
6/6=1lose
6/7=2lose
7/9=2win
6/7=2win=1+2=<3>profit
6/6=1win=1+3=<4>profit
6/6=1win=1+4=<5>profit
6/6=1win=1+5=<6>profit
6/6=1lose
6/7=2win=1+6=<7>profit
6/6=1win=1+7=<8>profit
6/6=1lose
6/7=2lose
7/9=2lose
7/11=2win
6/9=2win
5/7=2win=1+8=<9>profit
6/6=1lose
6/7=2win=1+9=<10>profit
So there you have it.
Everyone is invited to improve on it in anyway or to just ask as many questions as you like.
I would like Victor to refresh my memory here with the follow the last & the one before the last method & see if we can improve this to the benifit of all.
By say still useing my qualifying rules(mayby) & then to improve it so we get more out of the runs of the colours we bet on.
Anyhow I have done my best for you all in shareing how to make some units.
I bet if you go back over your records & see when it was Zig Zagging or pairing a lot that further back there was a colour that had come out 3 times or more before it started to do that.

I would like Victor to refresh my memory here with the follow the last & the one before the last method & see if we can improve this to the benifit of all.
Simple as it gets:
1) When a serie of 2 comes, bet FTL until two series of 1.
2) When two series of 1 come, bet OLD until a serie of 2 comes. Then go to step 1.
FTL = Follow the last.
OLD = Oposite last decision.
Example.
When RR comes, you keep on betting red (FTL). When RRB comes, you bet BLACK (FTL). You only quit betting the lat color when RBRB OR BRBR. Then you switch to OLD and bet for the zigzag to continue.
This will allow you to take advantage of the eventual long zigzag and the eventual long series.
Just another idea.
Victor.
Lanky- 07-14-2007
OK Thanks Victor.
I will work on it at a later.
Not today though....I have an appointment with a roulette wheel..
Thanks mate

Hi guys
Well I had to get back to this sometime & today was the day.
I decided that if the opportunity came I would still have the Qualifying rules, but I would turn & chase until 3 loseing bets.
Its sort of half way between Victor's & mine.
To use the 6 point Divisor & to take the Zero pocket at the same time I have to up the target to 7
If I win a bet I bring the divisor down 1 to the next level.
If I lose 3 bets in a row I take the divisor up 1 to next level.
OK this is what happened today.

Z 4/22=6+1ZP=29 lost 9 back for Zero pocket=20
Now this is where the divisor plan comes into it own
It has an inbuilt safety brake remember.
we added 3 x 6/7 targets so 7x3=21 we have 20 to get so 20 from 21 gives us a 1 unit profit + the 51 from before is now <52> profit
1 6/7=2+1ZP=10 lost 9 back from zero pocket
=1 from target of 7=6+52=<58> profit
6 6/7=2+1ZP=10 lost

Stop betting wait for treand again
23 32 18 6 1 8 19 26 19 8 9 9 31 1 31 17 14 19
No trend end of session
So we lost 6 less our 58 profit=<52> total profit for the day.
Do I think its any better then the way I do it normally.
NO I don't.I think there is far too many bets.
And I think my way is safer in the end.
But thats just my opinion my Friends & you may wish to do it differently.
Anyhow 52 units plus the 1255 from before makes it 1307 profit or 65.35% profit on starting bank
